Movie Night!

+
On Wednesday, March 11th, 2009,
we will be having a movie night for all of high school students.

The Movie will be
The Chronicles of Narnia!

The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. in the front meeting room of the Rectory.

Since it will be earlier we will be having pizza.

All interested in coming
are asked to call Father Check (215-334-4170) or email (sanctamonica@yahoo.com).

After the movie we will have a special treat-- Rob Boileau, a seminarian from our parish, will tell us about some of the catholic imagery that can be found in the movie.

It will be a great time!

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Don't forget to RSVP - ASAP.
Below is a video that Rob sent to me and I thought that it would be good to share it with you. It might be a preview of what is to come.

Poor Man's Supper

+

On Monday, March 9th, 5:30 to 7:00.

All are welcome to come for a "Poor Man's Supper" in the Junior School Cafeteria.

It will be a meager meal of soup, bread and water.

The event is open to the whole parish.

Any contributions made during the meal will be donated to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society and/or Operation Rice Bowl to provide food for those who are hungry.

All members of our youth group are encouraged to attend
and if possible to volunteer to serve.

We hope that you can come!

"'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?' And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me."
From Matthew 25:31-46
